An Autism Dad Speaks on Trump

Amy Poulter reports at The Virginian-Pilot:
Dave Belote, a retired Air Force colonel and one-time candidate for the 8th state Senate District seat, said Trump’s character is too dangerous and called the possibility of a Trump presidency an “absolute disaster.” Belote said he watched a live streaming of a speaking engagement Trump was at today in which the candidate stated he would be “so good” for veterans. Belote absolutely refutes the claim and said Trump is "unfit to catch a dog."

Belote said what really upset him, though, was when Trump last year mocked a reporter with a disability. Belote has a son with autism.
“This person is supposed to be assuming the mantle of leadership? No, thank you,” Belote said.
